The National Council of Single Mothers and their Children (NCSMC) is a self help group to fight for the basic and essential rights of all sole parent families. The NCSMC was formed to act as a national voice for the existing network of state based councils in Australia
ASCA (Advocates for Survivors of Child Abuse) is a national not for profit organisation of survivors supporting other survivors. - ASCA's door is open to anyone (over 18) who feels they have suffered abuse - physical, emotional, sexual or spiritual.
The Australian Domestic and Family Violence Clearinghouse is a national resource on issues of domestic violence and family violence. It provides a central point for the collection and dissemination of Australian domestic and family violence policy, practice and research.
The principal aim of the Clearinghouse is to collect and deliver the latest relevant research and best practice to family relationship service providers and practitioners across Australia. The Clearinghouse will also contribute to the goals of the Family Relationship Services Program by offering a resource and point of contact for providers of family relationship and support services. Policy makers and members of the research and broader communities will also benefit from having access to the Clearinghouse.
Launched at Parliament House in May 2001, the website has grown to become the biggest online parenting website in Australia for women managing pregnancy through to tweens. Most mothers arrive at www.motherinc.com.au preparing for pregnancy and don't leave until their children have moved into their mid-teens.
